I am so completely in love with the initial stages and moments of creation - where the vision is there, but the performance is in process and its strength is defined by the highwire balancing act between itself as a reality and as a concept. Where what isn't there is just as important, if not more, than what is. When the romance of what will be forgives the present state of what has yet to come. Based on this notion, my project is called Teenage Mustache. Like the literal teenage 'stache, no doubt this will at times be awkward and maybe try to get ahead of itself too quickly, but at the end of the day the bigger picture will be there and it's my hope that the breathing spaces left between the sounds, sights and words are what will make this interesting. Plus it's called "Teenage Mustache". And that's funny.
